The mist grows foggy and thick
Cold and wet, over the horizon it lingers once more
I feel
It grows inside my bones, it fills the cavity
Sticking drops of frosty emptiness
He is gone
The shroud hanging over the infinite sea
Though water I cannot sight
The ghostly vessel tossed upon the waves
Though no breakers I can hear
It hides and yet it tells me
It reveals its presence
The cloud of fog opens a new awareness in me
He is there
Though his face I cannot see
The void and haze disclosing warmth inside my heart
He is here
Inside me keeping me alive
Though his voice I cannot hear
I smell the green thickness of the air
Though no ocean I can see
I sense
The presence of him, who is just gone.
